Biooda gives an overview of the landfills in Mexico.

Landfills are a top destination for our trash. But not all landfills are created equally. Some landfills produce electricity and prevent waste from escaping into the environment, while other landfills are unregulated and polluting. Biooda seeks to improve the current state of landfill monitoring in Mexico by:

  1. Making it easy for citizens to explore the current state of landfills in Mexico.
  2. Contextualizing landfill surveys with geospatial information.
  3. Visualize where holes exist in the survey data.
